1: System Software Engineer

Duties/Key Areas of Responsibility  Technology assessments, design and development of the product
 Prepare and review functional and design specs
 Closely work with partner teams and other cross functional teams
Essential Job Requirements  System Management domain knowledge.
 Demonstrated strong technical expertise.
 Track record of delivering professional results on schedule.
Experience Required  Exp in software engineering (analysis, design and object-oriented programming) absolutely essential.
 Experience in Windows development, C++/C#, Jscript, JSP, html, xml (Experience in Java will be an added advantage)
 Installer development tools (Innosetup/InstallShield) and scripting for these tools

2: System Software Engineer

Duties/Key Areas of Responsibility  Technology assessments, design and development of the product
 Prepare and review functional and design specs
 Closely work with partner teams and other cross functional teams
Essential Job Requirements  System Management domain knowledge.
 Server virtualization( VMWare, MSVS, Hyper-V, Citrix Xen Server, Xen ) domain knowledge is preferred.
 Demonstrated strong technical expertise.
 Track record of delivering professional results on schedule.
Experience Required  Exp in software engineering (analysis, design and object-oriented programming) absolutely essential.
 Working experience with management protocols such as SNMP, WBEM/WMI.
 Experience in Java/J2EE, RMI, SOAP, JBoss, EJB, Tomcat, SQL, CVS/SVN, XML, JSP, AJAX, Hibernate.
 Experience on Database (Oracle/SQLServer).
Linux Skills:
 A very good working knowledge of Shell Programming (at least one of Bourne shell or variants of that, Korne Shell or C-Shell)
 Must have used many of the POSIX compliant Linux/Unix system calls
 A working knowledge of writing automation scripts using a combination of Shell Scripts, 'C' Programs and various Linux/Unix utilities
 Good at Systems Programming using 'C'
 Must have a working knowledge of Linux-based Build and its automation using:
o configure scripts
o Make utility
o writing Makefiles
 Must have working knowledge of using rpm and/or apt tools, as well as writing packaging scripts for distribution as RPM and/or Debian packages
 Disks and their Partitioning, and related Tools on Linux/Unix
 A working knowledge of Linux/Unix Programming environment:
o Most of the common Unix/Linux tools/utilities (mount, fsck, gcc, ldd, insmod, modprobe, grep, sed, awk)
o A working knowledge of using the hierarchy under /proc, /sys and udevs on Linux
o System Bootup and its sequencing on Linux
o System Initialization in Linux (init scripts)
o Linux/Unix file-system hierarchy
 Have a working knowledge of using and creating Linux Boot CD environment
 Be able to use perl/python scripts. A good working knowledge would be a plus

3: Senior Software Engineer

1. Engineer who would be working on QC and QTP needs the following skill set.
•
• experience in Test automation.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years development experience (VB) & must have experience in implementing COM objects.
• Strong in programming fundamentals & scripting required. (Shell, Perl)
• Experience in Quality Center customization (working experience on OTA API ).
• Experience in SQL and DBMS tools.
• Strong in QTP development skills. Practical experience required. (Design, code and validate Automation scripts)
• Should be able to understand existing automation code and maintain them.
• Experienced in testing methodology testing techniques
• Familiarity with SDLC, processes and best practices in test automation.
• Experienced in performance tools such as Load Runner would be preferred
• Prior experience in designing test frameworks would be preferred


2. Engineer who would be working on FIST needs the following skill set

• experience in Test automation.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years development experience (VB & Java) & must have experience in implementing COM.
• Experience in Quality Center implementation (working experience on OTA API )
• Knowledge/Experience design and implementation Test Framework.
• Strong in programming fundamentals & scripting (Perl, Shell script)
• Should be able to understand existing automation code and maintain them.
• Experienced in testing methodology and testing techniques
• Knowledge/Understanding on Web services/development.
• Familiarity with SDLC, processes and best practices in test automation.
