ü                    Formal Sales & Marketing related trainings/ certifications from reputed universities/ institutes/ past employers – useful

 

Years of Experience

 

ü                               6-10 years in IT Industry with at least 3 years in IT solution sales & Key Account Management

ü                               Earlier years could be in professional services sales/ product sales/ pre-sales

 

Essential Skills (technical and other behavioural including managerial / leadership skills)

ü                 Strategic Selling

ü                 Industry Specific Solution Selling

ü                 Key Account Management

ü                 Up-selling & Cross-selling in Existing Accounts

ü                 Profiling Accounts working with Marketing/ Industry teams

ü                 Opportunity Assessments working with Industry and/ or Solution Champions

ü                 Complex Sales Cycle Management

ü                 Selling  Global MNCs, Large National Companies in utilities Industry

ü                 Selling one or more –application based solutions

ü                 Relationship Management/ Account Management across all levels of the client organisation
