Our Client FIC has an urgent opening for VB.NET Professionals.

Work Location: Bangalore.

Position: SSE AND TL

Skill Required: Experience with full SDLC (covering requirements, design, development, testing and Implementation of n-tier architecture).
* Must have exp. of Microsoft .Net solutions development (VB.Net, ASP.Net)
* Hands-on exp. in web development in VB.NET, ASP.NET and ADO.NET (MS Visual Studio 2005 is preferred)
* Must have 3 year hands on experience in MS SQL Server 2005,& DB2
* Strong capabilities writing SQL and stored procedures
* Experience with XML, XSL
* Experienced in middle-tier development (VB.Net)
* Hands-on experience in development of Web Services and Remoting is highly preferred


ANY OTHER SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
* Experience in web application development, development of online
reports and application control flows (business rules).

* Knowledge of MS Foundation Server and MS Team Suite is preferred
* Must be analytical with good problem-solving skills and display
initiative in taking up responsibilities and focus on continuous
improvement activities

* Applied knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/2005 Server,
Internet Information Services 5.0/.6.0, and .NET remoting architectures.
* Microsoft certification in .Net 2005 is preferred
* Strong commitment to customer service.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Ability to work in diverse and fast-paced team environment are
required
* Flexibility in work hours - Overtime hours may be required to
meet project deadlines.
* Exposure or Working Knowledge on Microsoft Team system is
preferable.
Key Skills (will be used in to source profiles in portals)

* .NET 2003 & 2005 (ASP.Net, VB.Net, IIS, SQL Server 2005,
ADO.Net, C#,)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop multi threaded, .NET remoting accessible middle-tier
business components using VB.NET.

* Will be part of larger responsible team that develops
application using Microsoft .NET
Technologies: Visual Studio 2005, ASP.NET, VB.NET, VBScript, COM/DCOM,
Javascript, XML/XSL/XSLT, Web Services, .NET Remoting, Messaging,
Threading, SQL Server 2005, Reporting Service and Stored procedures

* Code profiling, code review, hands on experience using Best
Patterns and Practices
* Responsible for development of multi-tiered, scalable
applications in a web environment
* Ensure that modules / applications exceeds quality expectations
of our clients
* Ability to detect problem areas and recommend solutions.
* Excellent inter-personal skills required with the ability to
support the needs of many departments on a timely basis.

* Develop code in accordance with team standards
* Build appropriate testing tools/scripts for code developed
* Generate documentation for code developed
* Participate in roll-out and support
* Will also be fixing bugs on current versions of the software
