- Identify various Configurable Items (CI), document and track the same
- Plan and implement the correct directory structure of configuration server
- Identify the naming conventions, labeling methods and version management of various configurable items
- Train various team members on the concept and importance of Configuration Management
- Own and administer the Configuration server providing correct access control to team members
- Maintain access control register for various configuration servers
- Ensure that the configuration server is backed up regularly and must be able to recover incase of any disaster
- Face various configuration audits and ensure that there are no compliance issues pertaining to the role
- Liaise with various internal teams and bring improvements in the area of Configuration management

- Software Configuration Management tools like Visual source safe, sharepoint etc
